Edwards Coaches are ‘over the moon’ by winning three awards at the National Express Awards Ceremony which recently took place in Coventry. Entries from all over Britain had been received for these National Express prestigious awards, and against fierce competition Edwards Coaches won ‘UK Operator of The Year’. This is the fourth consecutive year that Edwards have walked away with this title, which was made all the more special during this 90th Anniversary year for the company.
The ‘Double Bubble’ came from Brent Humphries and Gerwyn Roberts who won National Express ‘UK Driver of The Year’. Both had been nominated for their outstanding Customer Services skills as they both helped to save a passenger’s life, who became ill onboard the National Express coach travelling from Swansea to London.
Edwards commented:
“What a fantastic accomplishment, a huge congratulations to everyone involved and a special thank you to Brent and Gerwyn for their outstanding achievement. On behalf of all at Edwards we are so proud and honoured to receive these titles”.
Edwards Coaches also received ‘High Achiever Award – Recognising Long Term Performance Above Standard’. This awards covers all aspects of operational delivery including customer satisfaction, miles operated, engineering, fuel consumption, driver training and vehicle audits.
