Edwards Coaches

Edwards take delivery of 10 new Mercedes Coaches!

Luxury, style, comfort and quality are just some of the thoughts that pass through your mind when viewing 10 of the newest editions to the Edwards Coach holiday fleet. Recently purchased at a cost of £2.75 million, this investment is a reflection of the confidence Edwards has in it’s company, but above all the belief in it’s customers who after experiencing an Edwards holiday continually come back, year on year.

All 10 brand new Edwards Mercedes-Benz Tourismo coaches together outside the Wales Millennium Centre (WMC) make an impressive sight. Passers-by stop in their tracks to take pictures on their mobile phones, whilst many stand and stare at the sheer magnitude of coaches which completely over-shadow the WMC main entrance. This will be the first and last time they will be seen collectively, as even now they are busy transporting customers around Britain and Europe. What a spectacular sight and probably the first time the WMC has taken a back seat.

Customers, staff and drivers can be assured of first class travel on the safest and highest quality coaches currently on the road. As expected there is no compromise on quality, each coach features extra leg room, air conditioning, first class reclining luxline seats with headrest, 49 seats, centre toilet, LED reading lights and all the standard comforts you would expect, plus much more.

The safety features are equally impressive such as ABS anti-lock braking systems, electronic stability program (ESP), all round driver visibility and tyre pressure monitor systems which are just a few of the technological enhancements built into each vehicle. Additionally the new state-of-the- art engines adhere to a high level of environmental compatibility with emissions and fuel consumption drastically reduced.

With such an impressive vehicle it is of little wonder that Edwards recently won Welsh Coach of the Year at the UK Coach Rally 2015 or have been shortlisted for five awards in the 2015 UK Travel Awards.

Edwards are currently celebrating their 90th Anniversary and it is fitting to mark this milestone with such a huge investment. This not only shows devoted customer care but firmly cements the organisations values, putting them in good stead to be around for another 90 years
