Wynne Evans ar Waith Release Charity Single

Edwards Coaches of Llantwit Fardre, Pontypridd are extremely proud to have 8 employees as part of the “Wynne Evans at Work Choir”. The charity project, set up by Wynne Evans of ‘Go Compare’ fame, was seen as an ambitious one to create a choir, purely from some of South Wales’ largest employers.

Included in the choir were employees from Edwards Coaches, Arriva Trains Wales and Welsh Water respectively. The song of choice, entitled, ‘Cân Heb ei Chanu’ translated to ‘A Song not Sung’ was recorded at the famous Monmouth Rockfield Studios, where bands such as Queen, Oasis and The Manic Street Preachers have previously recorded.

The song, specifically written for the project by Hywel Gwynfryn and composed by Robert Arwyn is available to download online now with all proceeds raised donated to Tenovus, Wales’ leading cancer charity. In January, a TV series will begin following the creation of the choir right through from the audition stage to the recording and release. The first episode of the series will be shown on S4C at 7:30pm on Wednesday 13th January 2016.
