With 35 existing vehicles within the National Express fleet, Edwards are among the largest provider of the service within the UK. In April, an additional 13 new vehicles are due to arrive at the Edwards headquarters in Llantwit Fardre, Pontypridd following significant passenger growth. With more seats available on all National Express routes to meet the growing customer demand, it is expected to continue to grow at an impressive rate.
The brand new vehicles will be Caetano Levante Volvo’s designed with the highest safety specifications on the road, fitted with Lytx Dashcams, Volvo drive assist safety system, full telematics driver monitoring system and 8 on board CCTV cameras to name just a few of the modern features.
The investment of £3.7 million is a sure statement of intent from Edwards who remain at the height of industry standards for safety and passenger comfort.
