Bridgwater Carnival Daytrip
The Bridgwater Carnival has lived up to its reputation as the largest and best illuminated procession in the world, with a mesmerising display of colour, sound, movement and overall entertainment.
The carnival, which takes place on the Saturday closest to November 5th, attracts thousands of spectators and enthralls people of all ages as it winds its way around the historic streets of Bridgwater, Somerset.
The roots of the Carnival date back to 1605 and the Gunpowder plot.
This excursion leave mid afternoon so that a fun filled evening can be had, leaving at approximately 22:30, it will arrive back in the early hours.
Warm clothing and a flask are highly recommended.
Itinerary Details
We depart in the afternoon and travel to Bridgewater for the annual carnival which takes place on the streets of Bridgewater during the course of the evening. We depart at approximately 22.30 hrs and travel back home to your original departure points in the early hours of Sunday morning. Warm clothes and a flask are recommened for this excursion.
