Day 1
TO WEXFORD/WICKLOW AREA
We travel to Fishguard / Pembroke for our ferry crossing to Rosslare and continue on to Wexford/Wicklow where we stay overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. (D)
Day 2
WEXFORD/WICKLOW AREA TO DUNDALK
After breakfast we travel northwards calling into capital Dublin with free time to explore at leisure before continuing to Dundalk where we stay for the next four nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. (B, D)
Day 3
CARLINGFORD, NEWCASTLE & MOURNE COASTAL ROUTE
Today we first head to the coastal town of Carlingford with free time to explore the narrow streets and lanes of the walled town. We then hop on the Carlingford Ferry for a 20 minute scenic sail from Greenore to Greencastle. After free time in the small seaside town of Newcastle enjoy a picturesque drive along the Mourne Coastal Route taking in the beautiful coastline and the majestic Mourne Mountains. (B, D))
Day 4
BELFAST
Enjoy a day in the lively city of Belfast. There is so much for you to explore here from Titanic Belfast, SS Nomadic, City Hall and Belfast Castle. (B, D)
Day 5
CAUSEY FARM & SLANE CASTLE
Today we experience life on a traditional working Irish farm at the family run Causey Farm. We get the chance to be Irish for the day by throwing us into things like turf cutting and rustling up soda bread and trying our hand at hurling, folk dancing and drumming. We'll also enjoy a traditional Irish lunch including beef & Guinness stew and scones with jam & cream before we head to the spectacular Slane Castle. Here we enjoy a guided tour to learn about the history of the building and the big name concerts that have taken place here over the years. (B, D)
Day 6
DUNDALK TO WATERFORD/WEXFORD AREA
It's time to say goodbye to Dundalk today as we travel back across the country to the Waterford/Wexford area for our final overnight stay. (B, D)
Day 7
FROM WATERFORD/WEXFORD AREA
We travel to Rosslare to board the early morning sailing to Pembroke, possibly with breakfast on board and complete the journey home. (B)
