Day 1
DAY 1 TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following the Channel crossing to Calais and complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed & breakfast accommodation. (D)
Day 2
DAY 2 FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We continue our journey south and into Northern Italy where we stay overnight. (B, D)
Day 3
FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO MONTECATINI TERME
We complete the journey to Montecatini Terme arriving in time for dinner. (B, D)
Day 4
FLORENCE
On today's excursion we take the train into Florence, 'Cradle of the Renaissance'. It is an enchanting city famous for the Duomo, the city's most iconic landmark and the Palazzo Vecchio. Here we'll enjoy a 3 hour guided tour so you'll be sure to see the main sights, as well as time to explore at leisure. (B,D)
Day 5
FREE DAY
Enjoy a day at leisure in the elegant town of Montecatini Terme, celebrated for its therapeutic waters since the 16th century. (B, D)
Day 6
PISA & LUCCA
Today we first visit Pisa were we have a 2 hour guided tour to take in the impressive Cathedrale and of course the famous Leaning Tower. We continue on to medieval Lucca, the birthplace of Puccini, where you will find a very well preserved historic centre. There will a guided tour here to show you the highlights of the city. (B, D)
Day 7
SAN GIMIGNANO & VOLTERRA
A guide will join us on our excursion today as we first visit the historic town of San Gimignano whose soaring towers can be seen from far away giving the nickname of 'Medieval Manhattan'. From here we make our way to the walled town of Volterra where we will visit a traditional alabaster workshop. (B, D)
Day 8
MONTECATINI TERME TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (B, D)
Day 9
OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We continue our journey back towards Northern France where we will stay overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. (B, D)
Day 10
OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO HOME
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
