Day 1
TO ARKLOW
We travel to Fishguard / Pembroke for our ferry crossing to Rosslare and continue on to Arklow where we stay overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. (D)
Day 2
ARKLOW TO BALLYMENA VIA DUBLIN
After breakfast we make our way into Dublin for free time to explore before continuing on into Northern Ireland and Ballymena where we stay for the next 2 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the historic Adair Arms Hotel.(B, D)
Day 3
BELFAST & TITANIC BELFAST
We make our way into the centre of Belfast where we visit Titanic Belfast, a world leading visitor attraction located in the very please where Titanic was designed, built and launched. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Belfast at leisure. (B, D)
Day 4
GIANT'S CAUSWAY & DERRY
We depart Ballmena this morning and first visit the mighty Giant's Causeway, created by volcanic activity forming a mass of 40,000 stone columns that have created steps leading from the cliff foot and disappearing under the sea. From here we make our way into the walled city of Derry and you will have time to explore the historic centre at leisure. Later we continue our journey to the coastal village of Ballyliffin where we stay for the next two nights. (B, D)
Day 5
INISHOWEN PENINSULA & DOAGH FAMINE VILLAGE
Enjoy taking in the breath-taking scenery of the beautiful Inishowen Peninsula, the largest on the island of Ireland, which stretches out into the Atlantic Ocean. The landscape here is of green hills and jagged coastal rocks. During the day we'll visit the Doagh Famine Village which tells the story of an Irish family from the 18th century to the present day and enjoy a tastin of Poitín , a traditional Irish spirit. (B, D)
Day 6
BALLYLIFFIN TO ARKLOW
We depart Ballyliffin and call in at Omagh before continuing our journey to Arklow where we stay once more at the Arklow Bay Hotel with dinner taken here this evening. (B,D)
Day 7
FROM ARKLOW
We depart the hotel early this morning for our return sailing back to Fishguard with breakfast taken on board and complete the journey home. (B)
