Day 1

TO MAGNY LES HAMEAUX
Following the Channel crossing to Calais, we make our way to Saint Quentin en Yvelines where we stay for the next four nights on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. (D)

Day 2

PARIS
This morning we depart on an orientation tour by coach, giving you time to get your bearings. Later the coach will drop off nearby one of the River Seine cruise operators where you will have the opportunity to take in the sights from the water (cost not included). The city comes alive at night when its iconic buildings are beautifully lit, and this evening we'll enjoy Paris at its very best and will be sure to catch a glimpse of the twinkling Eiffel Tower. Day 3

VERSAILLES
We spend the day in Versailles, a town dominated by the magnificent Palace of Versailles of which we have an included visit. Admire the Hall of Mirrors, the most famous room in the Palace and the wonderful fountains in the gardens. After time in the palace you will have time to explore the town, whose Avenue de Paris is also known as the widest avenue in France at leisure. (B)

Day 4

FONTAINEBLEAU
Today we visit Fontainebleau a charming town renowned for its scenic forest as well as the opulent Château de Fontainebleau, which is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Some visitors say it offers a more intimate glimpse into royal life than Versailles. (B)

Day 5

FROM MAGNY LES HAMEAUX
We travel to Calais for the return channel crossing and complete the journey home. (B)
