It is still a working fishing port and a must see is to stand on the quayside and watch the boats come and go throughout the day. As the town prides itself on its fresh fish, there’s no better place to enjoy delicious, local, fish and chips!
If it is shopping you are after, there is a wide range of souvenir, arts and craft shops and boutiques located in buildings dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. Or for those more active, Looe is a great place for walking as The South West Coast Path passes through the town.

Day 1
Travel to Looe and a welcome with Cornish Cream Tea on arrival at the Portbyhan Hotel.
Days 2-4
At leisure in resort plus we include the following excursions:
PLYMOUTH
The city is shaped by the fortunes of sea, trade and war, nowhere more so than in the historic Barbican. Plymouth's delightful old port is full of narrow cobbles streets, Elizabethan warehouses, specialist shops, art galleries, cafés and restaurants.
PADSTOW
This is a fine example of a Cornish fishing port, with a colourful busy harbour, surrounded by pastel-washed medieval house. There's a fine selection of traditional pubs, gift and craft shops as well as Rick Stein's famous seafood restaurant.
Day 5
We depart after breakfast and make our way back home to South Wales with a suitable comfort stop en route.
