Excursion 1
CHEVIOT HILLS & HOLY ISLAND
With our local Blue Badge Guide we take a panoramic tour through the city and then travel north by the Cheviot Hills, visiting the villages of Ford and Etal, before arriving at Holy Island. It is still often known by its more ancient name of Lindisfarne.
Excursion 2
NORTHUMBERLAND COAST & ALNWICK CASTLE & GARDENS
Accompanied once more by our local Blue Badge Guide, we continue our city tour including the panorama of the quayside and the famous Gateshead Millenium Bridge. We then continue northbound via the county town of Morpeth and on to the Northumberland Coast and Castles route to spectacular Alnwick Castle and Gardens with entrance included.

DURHAM CITY
Excursion to Durham City, now a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, with free time to explore this wonderful city at your own pace. The magnificent Norman Cathedral and Castle have dominated the city skyline for over 900 years.
