Day 1

TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following our Channel crossing to Calais we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)

Day 2

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO COLOGNE
We continue our journey where we embark the A-ROSA AQUA, our home for the next 4 nights. We depart this evening and sail through the night. (B,D)

Day 3

RÜDESHEIM & MAINZ CHRISTMAS MARKETS
In the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site lies the picturesque town of Rüdesheim. The Christmas market here is very special, called the Christmas Market of Nations there are over 120 stalls representing the Christmas traditions from 12 nations and is held in the heart of the historic Old Town on the Market Square. You have the whole day here to explore this charming town. We set sail in the late afternoon arriving in Mainz where you will also have several hours to visit the Christmas market that take place in the heart of the city. (B, L, D)

Day 4

FRANKFURT CHRISTMAS MARKET
Enjoy a full day in Frankfurt to explore the Christmas market, one of the oldest and most significant markets in Germany due to its sheer size. There are several locations around the city with quirkier markets alongside the traditional markets like the one at Römerberg and St Paul's Square as well as a huge Christmas tree. (B,L,D)

Day 5

LORELEI VALLEY & KOBLENZ
This morning we pass through the Lorelei Valley and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Middle Rhine Valley before arriving in Koblenz by mid afternoon. Here you can enjoy some time to stroll through the festively decorated city centre and see the city's largest Advent calendar on Jesuitenplatz as well as numerous stalls on the Christmas market selling traditional gifts and delicious food and drink whose scents fill the air. Day 6

FROM COLOGNE
After disembarking we travel to Calais for the return sea crossing and complete the journey home. (B)
