Europe comes alive in February with many carnivals taking place and Holland is no exception with the holiday mainly being celebrated in Limburg. On our tour to charming Valkenburg we visit Maastricht to enjoy the carnival and soak up the atmosphere in our resort.

Day 1
Following our Channel crossing to Calais, we make our way to Valkenburg where we stay for the next three nights.
Day 2
MAASTRICHT CARNIVAL - The city comes alive at carnival time with everyone keen to show off their costumes and floats as the big Carnival Parade winds its way through the streets on Carnival Sunday. It's a truly wonderful sight to see and there's a great atmosphere to enjoy.
Day 3
VALKENBURG CARNIVAL - Make the most of a day in resort to enjoy all the festivities of the carnival. Admire the beautiful fancy dress costumes and soak up the party atmosphere.
Day 4
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home.
