TO VALKENBURG
Following our Channel crossing to Calais, we make our way to Valkenburg where we stay for the next four nights. (D)
Day 2
AACHEN
We'll cross the border into Germany and visit the charming spa city of Aachen with free time to explore at leisure. One of the most popular sights in the city is the Cathedral which is more then 1200 years old or you may choose to soak up the atmosphere in the quaint streets and market squares. (B, D)
Day 3
VALKENBURG
Make the most of a day at leisure to explore Valkenburg. Here you can discover the mines and caves with paintings that date back to Roman times. (B, D)
Day 4
MAASTRICHT
Enjoy an excursion to the city of Maastricht, one of the oldest in the Netherlands it is a living and breathing outdoor museum, boasting a medieval fortified centre. Here you can visit a network of tunnels and underground passages, or you may choose to take a boat cruise on the River Maas. (B, D)
Day 5
FROM VALKENBURG
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
